April 1, 20224 yr Popular Post Friday again folks, and "Mother Nature" done did her April Fool's joke on us here "Two Weeks From Anywhere" by leaving us about a half inch of Snow. So while she makes up our minds as too what she's going to do,... What's on Your Weekend agenda?
April 1, 20224 yr Popular Post I have about a guzillion things to do... so I likely won't get any of them done. I started compounding the paint on the Chevy pu yesterday. Probably just keep on doing that, at least until the arm gives out...
April 1, 20224 yr Popular Post Got a few Shopsmith accessory tool stands to build. Just some 2X8 stuff, cobbled together with holes for the tubes. Then, need to improve the dust collection for the Miter saw. Been putting that off for too long. Both sons and families will be here for breakfast on Sunday. Then, Phyl's taking me out for a birthday late lunch of Sashimi and Sushi. Probably sneak in a bit of Saki, too. That and, a nap will about do it for Sunday.

April 1, 20224 yr Popular Post Hope this makes it out to the free world (stop); continue to be held hostage by some old geezer named winter (stop); unsure of location but devoid of warmth, natural light and dry air (stop); previous attempts to escape have been thwarted by the moats around the prison which often are frozen (stop); rarely are we allowed out in the yard but when we have been, hurricane force winds prevail (stop); food seems scarce and is being rationed to only 3 meals per day (stop); routine slave labor continues daily (stop); desperately need donuts if expected to survive (stop); help me (stop)

So, it's not a great leap from raw beef to raw fish....as long as it's a salt water fish. I like my freshwater fish breaded and fried. Can't beat a nice fried Walleye...or Perch...or Bass...or Crappy.
April 1, 20224 yr Popular Post Maybe warm up with a Bowl of Pho.... Dusting of that white crap outside...33 cloudy degrees.... Have 4 planks left at 7/8"x ~5-1/2" x 74" Thinking April's Project MIGHT be a table.....need to look them over after a bit...

April 1, 20224 yr Popular Post It may be hard to believe but, Tucson boasts several delightful international cuisines. Mexican (of course), Thai, Vietnamese, Italian, Spanish, Greek, Ukraine, Middle eastern and, European and probably more that I haven't tried yet. We're working on it, though.

More importantly what about Kripsy Kreme, Dunkin' Donuts or Tim Hortons? Asking for a friend.
April 1, 20224 yr Popular Post Saw this guy hiding in the woods this morning! He claims the pictures always turn out fuzzy for some reason. And speaking of April, it's 40 F and SNOWING! Not like 'Two Weeks from Anywhere', but it's still SNOW!
