Hey everyone,  I'm new to the forum and I'm starting to get into woodworking.  I have remodeling experience and know the basics.   My dad had a shop in his garage when I was growing up and now I have a garage to convert to a shop.  

 

I'm a 12 year Army veteran, with 2 trips to the sandbox (OIF).  I'm hoping that working with wood will be a good release for my PTSD.  I'm looking forward to building my shop and getting my first project started.

Our forum members will be more than glad to assist you with your shop build and, any future projects. Ask them anything. One member, @Gunny, may be of great help. He also spent a good bit of time in the sandbox and his shop improvements are very ingenious.

Woodworking IS a great release from PTSD, we will be here every step of the way to make sure you get the most of your woodworking journey, and in turn hopefully a way out of the stress and anxiety that is PTSD.
