November 13, 20214 yr Popular Post Borrowing from @steven newman s method I have used "forest of clamps" to glue this box up. No fasteners, just joinery and glue.

Just curious on your take. when we first started mostly no one brought cash to a museum. The new Director is doing a great job promoting and improving buildings, with more new buildings coming. Probably this is coming from Ag Commissioner . Also maybe they have learned we will be there.

November 14, 20214 yr Popular Post I think we should all take a break and go to Gene's house for the upcoming holiday. I want to be a grandchild and besides it is warm there.

I want to be a grandchild and besides it is warm there. Y'all are welcome anytime! Well, the balloon fest was fun. But sadly, no seafood trucks this year. Plenty of BBQ, smoked turkey, Sonoran hot dogs and great Mexican and Italian cuisine. Great live music, a sky diving exhibition, and, of course, the hot air balloons. And, a wonderful car show. Around 50 + beautifully restored and/or modified cars of the 30s on up through today's models. Even a couple Rolls. This to do was to benefit the regional health center and, judging from the multitude, at $10 a head, they did very well. Got to try out my new walker and, it sure was a blessing. We spent over 4 hours there with LOTS of walking over all sorts of terrain. And not an ache or pain all day! Without it, I'd have lasted maybe an hour. It was a great day and we had a grand time.

Perdue is the chicken people. My bad Dave, maybe it was auto correct? Or that I live in (Perdue) chicken country? Or was... But, there was no upset yesterday for either UGA or OSU In reality, I should have known better. I came close to going to school there, I had been accepted. But it came down to where I wanted to spend two winters - northern Indiana or north Georgia.

November 14, 20214 yr Popular Post I get to find some walnut for the toy box build. Went to a local mill and picked up these two boards. Didn’t see the figure until I got them home and planned them up. Also had to square up all the cedar boards as well.

November 15, 20214 yr Wish I had some of that. I had a piece years ago that when I resawed it looked like a owl. Think I used it on a box for cards and poker chips I gave my sister.
