Being cautious is good. I've found being paranoid is better.

The 1972 Presidentail election was the first I was able to vote. Just for the record, "he was not a crook."

Watching paint dry or grass grow is more entertaining than watching me.

1980 was the first presidential election for me, so yer my senior, but not by a lot. If I recall I pulled the handle next to John Anderson. 

So you guys didn't get to meet Harry Truman. He traveled by train.

Nope but he did make a whistle stop in our county seat during the '52 campaign. My grandparents only lived a couple blocks from the depot.

 

Bobbie Kennedy and Richard Milhouse Nixon both made stops in our county seat during their '68 primary campaign. Less than 2 months later Bobbie was assassinated.

Well I sat here and typed a whole page of things I was gonna explain to you for re-entry to this here site but my little brain keeps forgetting who you really are.

  I did bring you and your place up on Google maps to check on you and yours but every time I took pictures of your place you was always running around naked and I didn't think John would stop laughing long enough to tell me no that can't be posted on his woodworking site!!!! I did like the color of your Bugs Bunny uniform with your green hair that one day last year. And the sign saying Walt approves but wife has her objections!!

Aah, that wasn't me you saw running around naked...I can't run anywhere any more. Probably the neighbor up the road if it was somebody running.

 

And "what's up doc" with the Bugs Bunny costume accusation? Green hair too? Now it is possible it was me just laying down in the weeds and a rabbit came up to see if I was still breathing.

yup. still going in to the restore...recently saw this (I'm mostly hanging out in the back recycling stuff we can't sell for one reason or another).

Glad to hear you're still helping out. Great community service. I wish I lived closer to the one in Lafayette. They don't  seem to have much in tools anymore after new management a couple years ago. To be fair though, I haven't been in there for over a year.

 

Holy cow Pete that's a collector display in itself. I'm guessing that red handled one is a Miller's Falls Buck Roger's Era brace. There's at least two far older than that. @steven newman couldn't load his basket fast enough clearing those out? Even the speeder handle is old school Craftsman. Any follow you home?
