Awhile back I showed folks the Harbor Freight saw blade sharpener and was pretty happy with it, here is a modification that may improve upon some of its shortcomings for those who love to tinker. The original topic is here at Harbor Freight Saw Blade Sharpener.

More VMware host upgrades this week at the J.O.B..  Each one takes about 5 hours and has to have an exact matching configuration with other hosts in the cluster.  Since this is a family oriented forum, I won't mention the phrase that comes to mind about another kind of cluster.

Vet appointment for the dog, wife mandated haircut, filters for the furnace, reorder Rx. Might get to the last round of cut/glue on the rolling pin blanks.

I went to @steven newman school of clamping.  He often refers to it as "Forest of Clamps".

Looking at your pic, I doubt you get those kind of orders often (or at all). Of course, alternatively, you understood and carried it out beyond all expectations!

Well it was a Monday. Didn’t feel like I got a lot done today. I put the glass panels in the TV unit in the media room and finished installing the speaker cloth. The best news is today was the first day of not needing AC in the shop so from this point forward I get to work with the shop doors open.

Got nothing done today...been walking around with just the knee brace...and no cane.   Just took the trash out to the curb. "I'm a coming,Mr. Dillon.." as Chester was known to say ....

 

Family Doctor visit tomorrow, Knee Rehab Wednesday and Friday.....kind of leaves Thursday for anything else...been raining off and on all day, today...doesn't help the knee much.   "Hell when ya get old, ain't it"

 

Hmm...might see about a "Saltbox" style of box for the resawn Ash?   finger joints at the corners?   just a simple lid?   Just something to keep me from getting too bored?.....I can sit at the bench and do joinery all day long....trying to remember the top profile for a Saltbox.....

 

next 2 days, the Single Brain Cell Sketch Up should be working on a "Plan"....Hmmm...

 

Guess my week is now all planned out

Will be needing the AC well into December in this neck of the woods.

Had to visit Lowe's yesterday for a couple of toilet flapper valves. The need came as a surprise.  But, back to the trip, this is what I saw when I entered the store.

 

 

 

They were setting it up.  Browsed for some light hangers to go on the eaves of the house.  Then I turned back toward the door and saw this.

 

 

 

 

Well, enough of that.  I didn't forget why I went there.  Got my flapper valves, replaced each one in the old contraptions.  No more surprises for a few years I hope.  This morning was I had to pick up her prescription, make pancakes for her breakfast, had to go pick up the grandchildren from school (an hour apart).  Had to cook for them and then cook bean burritos for us old folks.  Then son wanted food.  I am not a cook, but everyone got fed and happy.  I am tired so enjoying this.  Mow front yard tomorrow.  Will work on cab of steamy engine provided she allows.  Who knows what tomorrow holds?  Thanks for listening.
