April 24, 20215 yr Popular Post For me it’s back working on the boat. Today is clean out the chain locker, which involves removing 200’ of old 3/8” chain and a lot of other stuff and then clean it thoroughly. Dirty job but has to be done. The new chain is arriving next week. Paul

April 24, 20215 yr Popular Post Supposed to be building a New Gazebo out on the back patio....called because of rain, all day.. This Mess needs to go.. That stack of scraps is holding up the Monitor....we have ways.. Waiting on glue to dry....while picking the stuff off my fingers....why is it, that glue dries on fingers faster than in wood?
April 25, 20215 yr Author Rough weekend here... We were notified just before noon on Friday that the BIL passed away. He and the SIL are now back together.
April 25, 20215 yr Popular Post yesterday was a "stock the pantry" day. there a meat processor 2 hours from us that has the best bacon, sausage and smoked pork products around. Atleast twice a year we drive up, load up the coolers, and stop at the mall on our way back home. Today it's time to finish up a few special order signs, and either work on plumbing the shop for compressed air and or glue some mineral stained hickory together for cutting boards. Our first outdoor show is in 3 weeks and stock needs to be built. Also discovered last week that I have an umbilical hernia, hoping to hear from the surgeon next week. need this thing fixed soon or I'll be begging some of you to come unload my cargo trailer at our shows.

April 26, 20215 yr Popular Post Laundry Detail, this morning....means the Add-on is now.....done.. Sanded , shaped, planed...and stained....then hauled upstairs, and installed.. 2 counter-bored screws. Can "park" my cell phone there, as well... Paying the price of working from a ladder most of the afternoon... Main frame is done....10' x 12' octagonal Gazebo...I even had a "Break Area" set up... Never even got to sit down....got the topper all assembled.. Decided I had enough "fun" for today.....working way too hard for a Sunday....
