    Hey...I missed another Monday......afraid I was "Indisposed"......Friday evening until about noon today.....OSU Wexner Brain & Spine Hospital.....possible stroke....they got it fixed....finally.

  • For my go to work beater car I have a 2001 PT Cruiser.  Got it for $350 and put a Timing belt on it to get it running.  8 years ago.  Spend about $120 a year fixing this or that odd stuff that breaks.

Hope it's fixed permanently, Steven! A real PITA, never knowing what's going on.

Naw, you just took an extra rest day on Monday.  Good to have  you back, Steven.  We can't do without you around here.  You are the main inspiration.

Now, what do you and AlB have going on?  He had a minor stroke a few weeks ago.  Now you are taking a crack at it.  What's up with that?  LOL

You know we are not allowing this sort of thing even if it was a weekend with Monday attached. Hope everything will be straight now.

Went to doctor this morning for check on my right arm.  She comes in and is reading chart.  Sits down at desk facing away from me she tells me take off my pants so she can examine me.  Figured something was wrong so decided to enjoy the moment.  Asked her for help with my zipper.  She whips around and realizes she has wrong chart.

This is from Iraq.

I was referring to the Chrysler/Dodge mini vans of the same era.

The photo you posted of it is either the third or forth that I've seen toasted like that.

Two of them I have seen in person, one was a vehicle that a former co-worker got as part of his retirement package.

It went up parked in his driveway, it was not running at the time it went up.

Yes they seemed to be plagued with wiring related fires / issues.  Older models had a large diameter wiring harness right underneath the battery box.  Battery leaks tight into harness.  Over time, bad things happen.  I had diagnosed this vehicle with a 2 amp draw earlier in the week.  AT THE Main fuse box where the fire started.  My warnings to send it packing went unheeded.

You should have seen how many engine harnesses we had to send back because the ends would come off when trying to install them on the assembly line. It seemed like they kept getting more cheaply made every year. <_<
