Somebody commented that they liked the tourine's pattern and asked where the rest of the china set was.  I can't remember how the question was answered but somehow my grandmother was able to change the subject.   

My dad and his four brothers grew up in a two story farm house in IL. The boys all slept upstsairs. No indoor plumbing. The house didn't get indoor plumbing until I was well out of high school. On occasion, I stayed overnight with grammaw and grampaw. The privy was about 75 or 80 feet outside the back door, through the milk parlor. On winter mornings, it was a long trek through the snow to take a leak. 

One summer day, grammaw sent me upstairs to open the only window up there to get some air circulation. When I raised the window, I saw this large roundish area of rust on the screen. Apparently, my dad and uncles didn't like taking that winter trek, either.

Little FYI, the windows are screwed shut, yes I checked.  Egress points are critical, might have to make a break for it from the FSB.

Not in the first class compartments!!!  If you have a beautiful Ukrainian woman an a train ride, you want some privacy.  That share with 6 other people stuff is for amateurs.
