April 13, 20197 yr I wish we had of done that, in those days that was our trading stock, We didn't have any money,so we traded them to the other kids for pocket knives, fountain pens, chewing gum. We also walked the old gravel road and picked up the beer bottles and pop bottles and took them to the little country store and traded them for Pop,Dixie cups, and ice cream bars, Also for fish hooks and fish eggs for fishing in the little creek. Well your question raises a couple more.....if you and the previous user swapped positions quick enough then that cold wood might just be all warmed up. And, on the other hand, if something had gone sideways then no telling what condition that soft cushy piece of carpet would be in.
