April 2, 20197 yr Author Popular Post comment_185277 45 minutes ago, Stick486 said: SWEET!!.. how do make/do your trademarks/signature emblem???... 1.I cut the wafer from a thin piece with a hole saw W/O the pilot bit. 2.Mark the center on the plane, and lay it into the jig on the drill press. 3. chuck up the forstner bit the same size as the wafer and set the drill press depth to the plane and lock it in. 4. release the drill press quill, slide the shim under the plane. This will give the correct depth, clamp the plane against the fence. 5.drill the pocket for the wafer in the side of the plane. 6. glue the wafer in place. 7.Stamp the bug on the wafer. 8. finish with shellac.
