The Oz forum can be a little daunting because there are many sub-forums (I am not a fan of that either), but there are forums specifically for hand- and power tools, as well as machinery, furniture building. Top of the morning to you!  I did a consulting stint down under years ago and spent many a week in Rockhampton, which I understand is the beef capital of Australia.  We were implementing a locomotive simulator (like a aircarft simulator only it doesn't fly and only has rails) for Queensland Railway to teach their train drivers (locomotive engineers in the states) how to drive trains properly and safely.

 

I too am new to the forum in the past day, but i don't have anything as impressive as your pictures.   Most of my work ov er the past 40+ years hads been towards house remodeling.

Welcome "mate" to The Patriot Woodworker. Great to have you on-board...a locomotive simulator....how cool. Driving a train has been on my "bucket list" for years...I love trains.
