Popular Post hatuffej Posted February 2, 2019 Popular Post Report Posted February 2, 2019 Gene, I like to play with time numbers. When I was working, I built a retirement spreadsheet that calculated how many years, months, weeks, day, hours, minutes, and seconds I had left when I entered the current workday, correcting for holidays, weekends, and days off. Did the same thing manually, counting only days to discharge, when I was in the Army. It was a humorous way to keep positive. Have you ever seen one of those pictures of a beautiful woman with a calendar imprinted over her entire body? Yeah, that. hat FlGatorwood, Cal, p_toad and 2 others 5 Quote
DAB Posted February 2, 2019 Report Posted February 2, 2019 well, now that we are doing math.... 2018-1963 = 55 years. 55 x 365 = 20075 days. but don't forget the leap years (1964, 1968, 1972, 1976, 1980, 1984, 1988, 1992, 1996, 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2016 - that's 13 more days) 20075+13+ (number of days from april 28, 2018 to today = 281) = 20369 oddly, this answer is different from that given by this website: https://www.timeanddate.com/date/durationresult.html?m1=4&d1=28&y1=1963&m2=2&d2=2&y2=2019&ti=on which gives 20370 as the correct answer. did they count 2000 as a leap year? it wasn't! p_toad, Cal, HARO50 and 2 others 2 1 1 1 Quote
Popular Post Gerald Posted February 2, 2019 Popular Post Report Posted February 2, 2019 Like Hat when I get up , after contemplating the idea for a while , thank the Lord for another day on this earth (pitiful tho it is). Then after the shower I feel like I can move around a little. The really hard part is getting up from the floor when something falls , happens more every day. Oh not me falling ....dropping something . Cal, HARO50, Artie and 4 others 7 Quote
