Dear folks, soon we will be making a decision on which theme to make our default. Once the default is chosen, one or the other will no longer be offered for use or supported. I would like to encourage you to switch between the themes and use them, and get to know them, and help us make a decision when the time comes, thank you!

A large number of complaints were filed, for the way it is, or was, we expended funds and time to make a custom theme to address the individual needs for different colors and backgrounds, now we have a custom theme. We will soon take votes to have one or the other.

Jess, please read the original post in this topic. Thanks

Herb, first off make sure you are in the custom theme, please see original post in the topic.

Once you are in the custom theme, you make changes with the image icon and the paint brush. See screen capture.

I went back to the very first post and there it was, I didn't have the paint brush like you show.  But at the very bottom of the page it says "Theme" so I clicked that and selected the ghost Custom and here I am in the black screen I always liked.

Thanks ,John, learned a new feature today.

Herb

Can't get the black screen.

Can you give me a screen shot of what you see Gene? Thanks

Nope. Can't do a screen shot on my Kindle...at least, I don't know how.

Lets try words.

The header is black. The dividers between posts are blue. The area to either side of the posts....where the up..down arrows are...is ecru. At one time it was black...IIRC.

No problem, just liked the darker...non ecru border...better. I'll get over it.:D

Gene at the vry, very bottom of the page do you have a "Theme" button? if you do click that and then click  Custom.

Herb

Tried that. Plus the paint brush.  It's still ecru on either side of the post page.

No biggie, though.

I like the Black borders and black header.

Hey Herb, just curious, have you been able to test the paint brush and image icon as shown in the screen capture above? Thanks!

Yes, John, the black screen and black header are my # one choice, any of the wood themes for background are #two, not keen on the desert sand color, or the rainbow of header colors.

Excellent! So glad you now have control over your viewing experience! Thanks for the feedback Herb, I like it all black too.

This is the theme that I have chosen. It works best for me and I am able to see everything I need to see. With that said, I realize that others need to have different contrasts and colors. So, with that said, whatever works for the group. I only care that it is usable for the ones with visual handicaps.  59d396bfa135c_Screenshot-2017-10-3ThePatriotWoodworker-CustomTheme(testersneeded).thumb.png.08ed9b76b5e79b5b9f2440a501d00027.png
