Good decision...Not only will you be able to rest OK tonight, but you'll be able to go back down to the shop and conjure up "our" next project or at least get the doors made for this one BTW...looks mighty nice in its new environment...
June 4, 20179 yr Author Doors. Have to keep the Riff-raff out of the groceries..... needs a back to keep things from falling out against the wall, too. I have under two weeks to get this done....
June 4, 20179 yr Author Popular Post Head hurts....across the opening at the bottom of the shop's stairs, there is a sill plate, for the floor joists overhead.....Trying to drag the plywood panel up the steps....found the sill plate..HARD, about knocked me out. May have to hang a "Hard Hat Area" sign on the shop door.....yep, that's going to leave a mark. I got the tools upstairs, first..no problems..but hauling the 3/4 x 3' x 4' panel was a bear.. Cleaned the plants off the saw bench I have on the back patio....easy to clean it up that way. Panel wanted to get a bit "tippy"...was NOT in the mood this morning...went and added two screws to keep things still.. Chalk box was from an earlier rust hunt. Needed filled up, no biggie.. Wasn't in the mood to trip over any cords....used a cordless instead.. too out of shape to use a handsaw for this.....blade MIGHT be a tad dull, though. Used a large square to mark on the side of the pantry, where the frames are, kind of hard to see them through the plywood. Used my foot to prop up the panel, long enough to drill a pilot hole. Added a screw after running the line in from the edge. Worked my way down. Turned out, I had left an "air gap" , no biggie, will help when the GRandBRATS slams the doors.. Only the wall will see this side. As for what it is replacing.. Claimed it is too small. I made this one a long time ago. As for that stand the mitre saw came on? IF I leave anything on the back porch that is flat...this is what happens..."Welcome to the Jungle"? Now I just need to make the doors. Stay tuned...I need a nap...

June 6, 20179 yr That looks super Steven! Now, if that were my boss it would last about 2 weeks... then it would be "too small"... Cal
