Thankful I picked up most of my clamps back in the days of good holiday sales. Seems like now the cost has gotten a bit much!

That’s actually a pretty good idea if you have a nice flat floor/driveway.

Out of glueup, trimmed edges, cut corners to 45 (hopefully less painful when I walk into the edge!), and added finish (will buff out in a bit).

Next will be installing the t-track, adding the "cheats" on the bottom to hold it in place, and figuring out how I want to do the fence. And need to cut a bunch of sections for the backer area so I'll have one to start and others ready as needed.

The clipped corners are a really good idea!

No worries. I have blood or bruises from the shop routinely! Maybe that should be a new thread. 🤣🤣🤣

This afternoon finally got some shop time. T-track with the 3D shims installed.

Had to increase the amount cut off the back right corner to allow the crank handle to move fully.

"Holder cleats" were set. I used double sided tape to locate and then removed the table to screw them in place.

Also cut about 9 of the backers. I figured I had the right setting on the sae so might as well plan ahead.

Just the fence left to build.

If you're like me, you'll store those backers away and when you need a new one, you'll have forgotten where you put them

The holders are hardly visible under the DP table.

And thank you for the "hat" concept on adding cleats to the bottom. Using the 3D printed drawer slides screwed in place gives a snug fit, but still removable if I need to make any changes.

That is why I bought a label printer. Just label contents at least significant contents. Hope I don't forget how to read or lose my glasses.

Decided build the fence rather than buy. Used some leftover maple 1/2 plywood. Cut and glued up three strips to allow a base piece to fit into the created rabbet.

Then added a groove on the front face for t-track. I drilled holes in the base piece for connecting the fence to the t-track on the new table. I worried about the durability of that opening in the 1/2 inch plywood so I added a few scrap pieces of heat treated poplar (just like the color and was already the thickness I wanted).

3D printed stop if I need it. Added a cutoff I had from my husband's flag project on the top to cover the plywood edges. Think it's done!

Again, I appreciate all the help and suggestions along the way. Definitely a group project!

Oh, and my shop supervisor who continues to enjoy the minisplit during this ongoing hot weather in Missouri.

Upcoming I would like to build a little rolling cart that would go under the table, straddling the base, for storage of bits, etc.
