Where's all the woodworking?!

Featured Replies

C'mon all! Where's all the woodworking?

All I see are posts about the weather and funny things.

I really enjoy the talent we have here.

well, coming soon, are digital trees, pre-programmed to grow specific size, straight grain lumber. you merely punch in your unlock code, the bark peels off, and your lumber is ready to use.

Seems to be plenty going on from where I sit in Indiana; @DAB just wrapped one up @BB1 has a project in the works as does @steven newman, @Zack has a build going on as does @Fred W. Hargis Jr; @Wichman3 just posted one; @Handfoolery keeps a thread updated from his YouTube channel; plus numerous, amazing turning projects; there's been several others I'm sure I'm missing. TPW is far more active project wise than others I'm familiar with.

Appreciate your enthusiasm and especially your participation here Rick, but life sometimes takes precedent for us all. The camaraderie here helps keep things active between projects. Just my $0.05 (US)๐Ÿ˜‰

Are you serious about this or is this an April Fools prank๐Ÿ˜‰

@Grandpadave52 thanks for listing these. Truly I wasn't complaining. I was just eager to see more great stuff. Everyone here are good woodworkers. I was just concerned seeing so much about funny things and weather that I wanted to encourage our beautiful woodworking adventures.

Cheers!

I have an update coming as soon as I can get it to that thread. I'm just really busy but yeah I love this place and all the people here and all the things that are going on. It's good to be a woodworker

I have an update coming to that thread as soon as I can get to it. I'm busier than your grandma with a b in her bonnet. But I love this place the people in it and all the stuff going on. It's a good time to be a woodworker.

Sorry for the double post. I changed phones and when I went to post there was a thing telling me that they could not that the post could not be posted until I entered my email. I just entered my email and it still wouldn't do it so I went and logged in. And then redid the post. So there's two there I don't know how it happened but sorry

Technology glitch....What I hate is when I'm typing and one of my words gets swapped for something similar. Sometimes I catch it and correct but sometimes it gets by me. Bummer!

If your autocorrect wrote "I have got wood" it is from Pennsylvania ROFL

When we first moved into our home, the previous owners left a small bench. Used it in the shop and repaired it many times. Finally made a new version. 3 legged milking stool. Same height. 3 legs always sets level. Of course, the lathe had to be involved.

Neighbor's little girls outgrew their baby beds and needed something larger. This is the largest project ever produced in the basement shop. The entire build had to be able to be disassembled and carted up the basement steps, through the living room and into the house next door.

The little girl in the top bunk starts college in the fall and the one in the bottom bunk is starting to drive. The bunk beds have since moved on to another deserving family and continues to be in use.
