February 11Feb 11 comment_370863 The ad says 15.75 x 15.75 cutting area. The good thing is the rear is open so larger material can be fed through it on the "Y" axis such as a sign that could be 15 inches tall x whatever length is required. VCarve Pro and I assume other programs allow the files to be "tiled" (split in to more than one file) so the operator can run first file, reposition the material, then run the next, and so on. That is how I cut my shapes for the 48 inch Marquee letters. My max cutting area is 25x37, so I tile them in 24 inch files. Works really well. Attached is a "2" I am cutting out. I have already cut the first file. I re-positioned the plywood and the second file is running now. The end result is a "2" that is 48 inches tall.Hope this helps anyone interested in the CNC and worried about the smallish cutting area. The price seems good.Like David said, it's a loong way from Houston! :)Mike Report
February 11Feb 11 comment_370864 HA HA - did they misspell MASTER or spell it that way on purpose? I had to look at it a second time because at first glance I read MASTER PRO! :) Report

February 11Feb 11 comment_370872 I'd pass even if I was nearby. Cheap enough to learn on if you have no experience and they can prove that it works and explain/include the control software used to run it. Something to create files for it would be an extra expense unless also provided with it. 4D Report
March 8Mar 8 comment_372405 The Masuter Pro is highly-rated (4.2 of 5 stars). $600 - 800+ new depending where you buy it. Report
