Those were our golden radio days, Larry Lujack, Steve Dahl, Bob Stroud, and of course

 

beard already off, hair already trimmed....

 

Listened to WLS, KDKA, WBZ, WKBW and more in the very early 60’s

WLS and WCFL mainly here. I don't remember the call letters for the big station when I lived in Nashville although I will admit to listening to WSM and Ralph Emery from time to time. I mean, come on, it was Nashville and in the early 70's.

I always say I had no choice to be frugal as my parents were a) children of the depression, b) subsistence farmers growing up, and c) Scottish heritage.
