Hey Fred, I'm sure you're told this all the time, and you don't need to hear it from lil ol me, but man, you are one heckuva awesome husband. Not too mention Marie I am sure has her patience tried qui

  • Went to the pulmonologist today and received a good report, don't have to see him again for a year. Staying out of the baker's way for the weekend is my only task and maybe sampling a cookie or two.

Good day to stay out of the shop. For me, Marie is back into the baking mode so I'll have to be close by to help. In between those duties I'll try to sneak out and piddle.

It's cold here but not that cold.  Staying in where it's warm anyway.

The kids next door are performing in a play at Gettysburg tomorrow. That pretty much takes care of Saturday. Rain and snow on Sunday so maybe get to play in the shop.

But really Fred, through thick and thin, you just don't stop. There's a book or movie in your story somewhere.

Similar here, I stay close to the kitchen entrance waiting for my name to be called, OR loud crashes and screams...

Glad to hear about the good news from the doctor.

Perfect Christmas gift.  I'm happy for you.

Three basketball game nights out of four evenings this week has put this old geezer to the test. Today, mostly domestic duties to start earning my keep around here again. Ground is totally white outside but I did take care of the bird feeders already; Bluejays are happy. Youngest granddaughter will be home sometime tomorrow for her Christmas break. Sunday, church services followed by our annual Christmas meal. Looking forward to that since I missed the Thanksgiving meal. Currently, there is a donut moratorium in effect.

No such restriction here! Our oldest grand-daughter and her 'significant other' paid us a visit today, since she will be working her TWO jobs through Christmas, and will not be able to see us during the holidays. She lives about a four-hour drive west of here. We had a lovely visit, and they opened their presents early. They brought us several things, including  DSC_0002-Copy(14).JPG.7282373a5194461e724416c5ffcbf27c.JPG

from "The best donut shop in western Ontario". The apple fritter (front center) was DELICIOUS! Can't vouch for the rest yet.:Eat:
