June 11, 20242 yr Popular Post Late reporting again this week. I'll try to improve going forward. Too many projects; too little time. At this pace, I'm considering hiring a Project Manager. The Mrs. just doesn't seem to grasp project priorities. Youth baseball season wraps up this week with two games, meeting at church, more mowing, two more raised garden beds to get set and filled and probably other projects I haven't been advised on yet. Oh, yeah, the Buick tossed a "Service AWD System" message at me Sunday after sitting in the church parking lot. From the code, everything points to the Rear Differential Control Module. Several TIB's about it. If so, they ain't cheap and have to be preprogrammed. My scanner won't let me do it plus I don't have subscription access to any flash files. I can clear the code, but it immediately returns. From my understanding, when this occurs, car just operates as a FWD. Then there will be more mowing. An on-line auction I'm following, sorta. Likely will do some more mowing later today after I finish mowing. Still working to get caught up here on all the posts I've missed the past couple of weeks. In between attempting to do that, I'll probably do some mowing. Edited June 11, 20242 yr by Grandpadave52

When I sweat in the shade , and I have no idea what a string has to do with it. Depends upon what too HOT Vs. too COLD is... IMHO 1 hour ago, Fred W. June 11, 20242 yr Popular Post large sheet glue up? lots of clamps, a few cauls, and some screws into the work bench. it will be a VTAC barricade, 1/2" ply doubled. will cut holes (that's where i put the screws into the work bench) later. then paint RED. one of two to make this week or next week. and some random lead weights helps too.
June 11, 20242 yr Congrats to @Gene Howe ,and @JimM as well as @Geraldon your golden (+) anniversaries.

This old body can't hack the heat beyond about 10:30. No shop time today. It's our 53rd wedding anniversary. Our sons gave us a gift card to a fancy resturant. We'll do a midday meal. The resturant is about a 45 minute drive. By the time we get there, eat and get home for a nap, most of the day will be gone. Congrats Gene!!! I hope you had a great time!
