Gotta pick up the chain saw from repair so maybe can start on cutting that big oak up. Did not do much on weekend just got a hollow form ready for final finish.

dropped off the table i made at the church.  the pastors and staff will review it and suggest changes if needed.  sounds like it might be getting smaller/shorter, so it doesn't stick so far out into the aisle/traffic.  that's why i just made the one.  worst case, they can't use it for the sanctuary, but it might find a home in someone' office.  or i'll take it back and give it to a friend who could use it.  it won't go to waste.  plus now they can see my build and finish quality.

One weed eater running. New fuel lines, primer bulb, fuel filter, fresh gas, 3rd pull.

It's one of my auction purchases late last year. Weedeater FL25; like brand new. It came with a Remington RM2520. Supposedly it runs; haven't tried it yet. $12.65 for both with bidder premium.

(Auction pic)

I have an identical RM2520 that belonged to my stepfather; it needs a new cutter head installed which I now have. Probably will give one to my SIL.

The FL25 will replace my tired old FL20. Same cutter head and line spools. I have ~18 spools now. Several of those came from auction lots or garage sales.

Still have a Craftsman 32cc to get going. Think it will need a carburetor. It's a straight shaft; good for fence rows, road sides and other HD cutting. It shows almost no use. IIRC, it was $10 w/bid premium?

Over the weekend I made this shop assistant.  I'm thinking of adding a head and a tail. :DayDreaming:

As i like to explain to people, "All I need in the mornings is eight to ten hours of alone-time. Then I'm ready to tackle the day!"

 Just looking at those "Things" makes my shoulder hurt.

String mower, put new cutting strings on, check oil, fill with gas, press primer bulb on 5 HP B&S, 3rd pull, no sore shoulder but the hips :ArguingSmileys:today after taking down about a half-acre of knee high whatever. <_<

:ChinScratch: Sounds like MN's knocking on our area. :BlackCloud:

Weed eaters in my house run on a 20v Battery...

Recliner and a 3 seat couch have been delivered ..this morning...Unload from a Pick-up Truck, haul into the house ( was part of the 3 man crew) assembled the couch, and installed the back on the Recliner..

Took a few Photos...that the Boss will get the look at first..then maybe post a couple here?

License Plate needs renewed on or before the 15th of May....$40 for a little 1" x 1" Sticker...

Sitting here soaked in from of the AC Unit..trying to cool off and DRY OUT..while "doing Lunch"...

Not sure what else is on the schedule, for today...calling for 80 sunny degrees for a high...leaves me out of using the Lawn Mower, today..

Yesterday was the pits. Got saw out of the shop with a bill of 109, almost half the price of a new one , well ok 1/3. Raised shop door to geta piece of ply for a project and when I lowered it a pipe fell and jambed it , breaking a cable in the process. So another bill. Been thinking Toyota paid off and large tax refund so now paying my dues?:(

Spent the morning at the furniture bank doing repairs with another Keith M.   In 4 hours we repaired 14 pieces, sent 4 to trash, and cleaned up the repair area a little.   Upholstered one chair seat, repaired 3 more chairs, a bunch of tables missing legs and re-used some leftover legs, fixed a few tables and a cabinet.  Was a good day and now the repair area is empty (at least for another 20 hours).  Will be back tomorrow to mentor 82 volunteers to assemble some RTA dressers

Couch came in 3 sections on the back of a pick up truck.  Chair's back was designed to come off for transport...Was part of the 3 man crew to get these from the auction House to the front room of the house...and assembled...Ceiling fan was overhead, and on HIGH Speed, and the lights were on..
