I my area, replacement parts are hard to find because of the recent high demand.  Then now have the FBI involved.

Danl

In Milwaukee they've already had over 6,000 stolen vehicle reports this year with the police stating that Hyundai, and Kia vehicles account for over 90% of the vehicles stolen. With those kind of numbers I can see why replacement parts could be hard to find. Almost all of the theives that they've caught are minors.

I have no agenda now for this weekend. I just tested positive for covid. The Missus had it last summer, somehow I managed to avoid it then. Working in the schools and library makes me a highly exposed person, illness wise. Waiting on Doc to call me back and tell me how we’re gonna handle this. So I’m a lump in the easy chair, parked in front of the screen.

Paxlovid, 6 pills daily for 5 days. Having a hard time standing. 100 degree fever, got into the LAZBOY at 2:00 PM, shivered non stop to 5:30 PM. At least so far, I’m able to stay home.

Right now my only agenda is waiting to see the results from my wife's tests. She fell again today after having fallen only about 2 weeks ago. Hopefully now when she gets home she will seriously consider using her walker. Just not up to this these days

Prayers for Ellie, you as well as your daughter Al. You all have been burdened with a number of challenges as of late. Wish I could do more to help.

I will keep repeating this, I’m only 45 minutes away, me and the Missus can help. Obviously right now there is a quarrantine period with the Covid, but I’m supposed to be able to return to work on Wednesday.

So my little pea brain is incapable of believing how much better I feel today, over yesterday! I would say I’m 100 % fully functional. Weak, a littler light headed, but already doing a laundry for the Missus. Thank you all for the thoughts, prayers, and support!

Update; My wife is back home after her fall. She has 2 metal clips on her head for a cut and a black eye that is something else. A bit of swelling on her right knee Otherwise OK. No cushion or broken bones. Got to keep her using the walker!   Thank you all for your prayers

Great to hear Artie. Don't over do though. Weird illness that can come/ go in waves. Take care.

Thankful to hear nothing was broken Al and no more serious than it was. Hard to adjust using a walker. My step-father battled using his all the time. Sometimes I think he maybe forgot and just got up on instinct. Continued prayers for you all.

Thanks @Artie You obviously have enough problems of your own right now. Ellie is back home and is doing OK. When the weather warms up I hope we can get together. Still owe you a diner. Looking for hints about what to do with my shop tools. I have sold my table saw and router table. Think I got a good price at $1600.00 for the two.

Al, I think we’re even on dinners. Gonna have to flip for the next one. Yeah we’re gonna have to have a TPW Massachusetts luncheon pretty soon.

Yes SIR !!!!
