That’s a great bandsaw and can’t wait to see what projects you use it on ! Paul Thank-you Paul. Hope to do lots of resawing with it and expand my skills to include some BS boxes. I'm sure I'll find other many other projects as well. The additional 6" rip capacity over my old 12" Craftsman will be nice. In the mean-time, several good YT videos to watch/re-watch plus I've downloaded the manual to begin reviewing. Al B, Cal, John Morris and 2 others 5 Quote

I'm still in disbelief the saw is already sitting in my garage. Watched the Laguna set-up YT series last night. Very well done video set. Cal, Al B, John Morris and 2 others 5 Quote
Popular Post John Morris Posted January 20, 2023 Author Popular Post Report Posted January 20, 2023 @Grandpadave52, sounds like that saw found a good place to reside! Laguna Tools is a wonderful outfit, always ready to step up and help when it comes to our veterans. And from what I hear that bandsaw is pretty stout and once tuned and ready to go, she's a keeper. My own cousin bought one a few years back, and he loves his. And again, thank you to all who stepped up and contributed to this wonderful project, if I had my way and the philanthropic funds available, I'd send everyone a bandsaw, you know like Oprah does, look under your seat, pull the tag, and what do you read, that's what you get! But I'll settle for a few of our folks here receiving some wonderful gifts from our sponsors, and our Warrior Family had a wonderful Christmas! Thank you all! Popular Post Artie Posted January 20, 2023 Popular Post Report Posted January 20, 2023 I’m calling BS! What do we say around here????? No pictures, it didn’t happen! We should have received teaser photos of the boxes in the garage. Then weekly weather reports, getting us ramped up for the reports to follow, when warmer weather gets here. How warm does it need to be to get help and set it up???? This could feed discussions amongst us for weeks, nay I say, even months! Congrats Dave! Honestly, I’m only kidding here, but I hope you are able to keep us posted on the journey, and then the use of the saw. After seeing the bandsaw box Al made, and gave to me Missus, I’m looking forward to seeing some from you. (But no pressure!) I am constantly reminded of ALL the good folk here, and why I am on here daily. lew, JimM, Grandpadave52 and 4 others 3 4 Quote

Time was short that day with help window versus rain window vs back window and nap window 4 hours ago, Artie said: How warm does it need to be to get help and set it up???? Warm enough where I can wear shorts and a t-shirt. When ones tongue sticks to the tools and the project it's to flippin' cold. A ray or two of sunshine wouldn't hurt either 4 hours ago, Artie said: This could feed discussions amongst us for weeks, nay I say, even months! It's winter even in New England for 5, maybe 6 more months so what else have you got to do? 5 hours ago, Artie said: After seeing the bandsaw box Al made, and gave to me Missus, I’m looking forward to seeing some from you. Suppose Al would make one for me to send to you? 5 hours ago, Artie said: I am constantly reminded of ALL the good folk here, and why I am on here daily. Couldn't have stated it any better Artie. I'm fortunate enough now to have a tribute in my garage as a reminder of all you great folks. Thanks for your kind closing words. lew, Artie, Al B and 3 others 6 Quote
