We managed 32° yesterday, but the sun didn't come out until 5P or so, just a little before it set. The wind wasn't real bad, so overall it a better day than most of last week. This morning it's 17°, and we should be in the low 30s later, maybe more sun than yesterday. So the warming trend has commenced, and I'm waiting for spring.

5:50AM.  11° and clear.  Feels like -2° with the humidity at 76% and a cool breeze from the south west up to 6mph. 

High should break 40°  for a moment today by 5:00PM.  Tomorrow it'll break into the 50s.  By Tuesday we might see the 60s.

woke to a high 40s, with promise of high 70s, and abundance of sun good ness, off to Wickenburg, Az to our sportsman shooting range, have a 2A celebration today with a lunch and sale gathering, i belong to AZCDL.org which is a rights organization, we are a 17 year old grass roots group, with over 15k members fighting to keep our gun rights and general rule of law rights for gun ownership. ect. ect. check out the site, many other states have mirrored our group, 

anyhowz, life happens, hope to join up a few enterprising folks today, and generally enjoy the company of like minded freedom folks,

So close to making it into the 30's yesterday but had to settle for 29°. Plenty of sunshine and the wind wasn't terrible. A great early January day except it's late February.

 

8:55A, EDT; we were at 8° at ~6A. A sweltering 13°, RF 5°, DP 10°; mostly sunny, SSW wind, 5-10 mph. Will today be the day we busy freezing? Stay tuned for the next episode of "Winter Weather Sux."

Sunny all day today with wind to 10MPH and a promised high of 37°.  A definite improvement over the past week.  On Wednesday we just might see 50°.

Yesterday was sunny and we got up to 34°, but with a stiff wind it was still cold outside. Still, the sun did some major damage to the snow cover and we are gradually getting back to having a a brown yard...with any luck it will be green in the not too distant future. Anyway, we have 24° at the moment and with any luck will be in the upper 30s today. Sunny as well, at least for the first part of the day. Just having the sun makes things a little better.

Woohoo, all the way to 36° yesterday with sunshine all day. Not woohoo was the wind roaring across the frozen tundra so it actually felt colder than Friday. Some melting occurred but surprisingly, not much.

 

7:10A, EDT; 19°, RF 11°, very orange sunrise, SW wind ~12 mph. High in the low 40's predicted; not as cold tonight. This will be the first Sunday this year we aren't experiencing bitter cold, or snow or nasty roads while headed out for church.

27° and clear.  Feels like 24°. Humidity 81%. Wind 3mph from the south west. Looks like we'll see temps above 50° between 4PM and 6PM today. 65° tomorrow, and 70° on Tuesday. Trend next week is for highs in the 60s every day. I'll suffer through it I suppose.

We made the upper 30s yesterday with a lot of sun and it is shining bright again today.  30° is the predicted high and we are hoping to see the low 40s.  Supposed to stay nice until dinner time this evening and the clouds are supposed to move in.  No rain slated until Wednesday.

 Looks like the BIG THAW has arrived 40's and 50's forecast now through Friday.

Wow,! What a change! Temperature reached 40 degrees today. This is the first day with temperatures above freezing in weeks. Supposed to get even warmer tomorrow. Great to see the melting of the snow with the sun getting higher each day.

Made it to 57° before starting back down today.  Only the deepest piles of snow are hanging on. 43% humidity. 8mph wind from the west. UV index 2.  Looks like we'll hit the 60s for the next 4 days at least.

We were at 41° yesterday before the clouds rolled in and blocked the sun. This morning it's 34°, first time above freezing at this hour in some time, and we might be in the upper 40s later. Sun and clouds mixed today, but the bad part will be the wind. It's what's bringing the warm temps, but at 30 MPH later today it's not exactly what I want. We should be above 40 all week, then Saturday it's cools down slightly. Some rain tomorrow as well, we could use it to rinse the salt off the roads.

4T4° for the high yesterday with plenty of sunshine. In town it felt pretty good; out here in Farmville not so much with the wind. A lot of snow is gone, freeze trying to come out of the ground so we're in mud season now.

 

8:55A, EDT; dropped to 33° overnight but has warmed to 37°, RF 28° now. SSW wind already at ~20 mph, heavy overcast, 72% RH. Might see 50° today as well as a peek of the sun. Scattered rain showers in the forecast tonight, tomorrow and Wednesday. Aside from the mud, more gooder than what it has been.

We made it to 40° yesterday if you looked at the right thermometer.  It is already 40° and headed to 50° later.  Mostly sunny now and becoming windier and cloudier as the day gets old.  Possible shower at dinner time.

It's beginning to feel like spring. 44 degrees today and virtually no wind.  Watching that snow cover and ice melt away.
