I debated on whether to have this one done.  No one on my father's side has made it beyond 70.  At 70 myself I am at the very top of that tree.  While the view is pretty good, this branch sure does sway a lot!

Just looking for this week to be behind me...

Yes, after spending the week on a special "low fiber, low residue (lots of water) diet" and a day of drinking some yellow liquid most vile, my week will end with the doctor staring up into the void... :o

Prepping for a colonoscopy on Friday.  As I said, just wanting this week to be behind me

BTDT too...the liquid I drank was clear...helped to put it on ice...good news though Cal...everything works out in the end:rolleyes:

had our 3rd best sales this past weekend, so I've been cutting and gluing to replace inventory

Good to hear business is booming John. Great to have you posting up again too! Hope you get some rest too.

It's about time for mine (colonscope) and at 74 I'm hoping to get out of it, maybe do one of those Colongaurd test instead. To be honest, I've never had a problem getting a colonoscopy, (the prep was always worse than the test) but since Marie doesn't drive working out the transport stuff is a real headache.

Looks like it meets the Inspector Furr Ball's approval...

0800 this morning...to 0900...one hour in the shop...moving about 80 pounds of box around...trying to round over AND sand all the square edges..

Then hoist this back onto the tablesaw to brush on the stain....and re-lift it a couple times to get everything stained on the outside...

Oh..did I mention I first had to change the router bits, too....still haven't found the wrench....maybe when I clear off the bench, this coming weekend?

day 2 of digging a ditch.  ooof.....i'm too old for this work.

outlet of a culvert under the road, the dirt is a bit higher than desired, so i've been digging a ditch at the proper depth to let the rain water flow downhill.

(3 rules that a plumber knows:  payday is friday, the pipe inner diameter must be smaller than the outer diameter, and poop only flows downhill)

perhaps finish up tomorrow.  i'm not 30-something anymore.....sigh....

Got the 300 foot Pex buried partially today. Two faucet stubs set. Found that 3 rolls of 100 foot equals 314 instead of 300 so unfortunately had to cut off the last 14. Who would have guessed. Now we still have to fill the rest of the trench and install posts for faucets (2). Maybe not tomorrow though. This is not a job for old man either.

That's a lot of work, @Gerald. Sounds like it's nearly done, though.

Except for a few odd bits and pieces, my shop organization is DONE! Only took the better part of a year.:( Got it all blown out, yesterday. Need some shop vac work to be totally cleaned.  Then, it's back to the Limbert tables.

At some point, assembly of a new laser and, the scroll saw stand needs to get done. If my ADD stays at bay, the shop should be totally functional by the end of July. Any bets? :OldManSmiley:

I don't think shops are ever "Totally" functional, at least I hope not. New tools, new skills, Brilliant ideas...

I guess you would have to define "totally" for me Gene :P

After 20 years I am still not "totally" (by me def) functional (in my shop).

#1. All pencils located

#2. All machines accessible and, working

#3. Materials at hand

#4. See #1

Maybe totally was a bad choice of words.  As, Frenchie opined, we're never done.

lol, i'm still re arranging tools and the flow, i should have built shop a tad larger having been used to one half again as big, but had planned on not having so much equipment, so................. Gonna get me gals to assist me in a video of shop when they visit home in a few weeks, and share the joint. i'm not much on techie stuff so be patient,

been so busy selling off equipment from const. biz as we downsize and head for the door for retirement, never actually realized how much i'd invested in equipment to make the boys and gals work easier.

maybe i'm just a ''collector'' of tools, haha
