And too, I can get it done in town for about what the oil & filter would cost me at the auto supply. I buy oil and OEM filters from Rural King or Wal-Mart. If buying from Wal-Mart order in advance and either pick up at store or better yet, if order totals more than $35 they'll ship to your door for free. Keeps one from going into the store and seeing things no one should have to see.
January 18, 20224 yr Busy day tomorrow. Doubt I'll get into shop till 1800. Have several interviews throughout the day. Turned down 4 as the pay was 2001 wages. One was a dealer, kinda surprised me he was trying to lowball me.

January 19, 20224 yr Popular Post 2 interviews down and I am back home for a bit till next round in the afternoon. Both went well, one is looking for start date of 1 March and asked if this was issue. Seems they just started renovations to main office and waiting room area MONDAY. You can tell they are bit stressed with the last-minute notice on Friday to clear out offices and such. Shop was large and hey, the bloody doors were closed, and they had the HEAT on.

One is with big retail chain, the other a private shop but a larger one than I have typically seen. They have been in business for 27 years, so not newcomers. Had all the latest scan tools for drivability work. Not a pocket scanner. Made the guy at the retail place spew coffee. Mission accomplished. He had me out in the shop to look at a problem vehicle they had. Asked me my opinion. Straight faced I told him some bubble gum and a jolly rancher here, and here, then a band aid to cover it up.

Maybe you might consider some type of warning label on your forehead?
