January 7, 20224 yr Popular Post Friday again folks! Here "Two Weeks From Anywhere" we're going through our January "Heat Wave". It's actually warmed up a couple of degrees to -1° with a wind chill of -15° from -3° WC -19°. (Took me 1/2 hr to figure out how to sign in ) We'll be picking up the needed piping supplies to replace the condensate return line crossover pipe next door sometime today. We'll be doing the job starting Monday while they are closed. Until then it's add a Band-Aid, and cross your fingers. So, What's on Your Weekend Agenda? Mine involves trying to keep the "Oooo, Fire Good!" going.
January 7, 20224 yr I bought Marie a new Iphone for Christmas. We had it working and now it's not getting cellular, so I guess I'll be spending some time today at the carrier's store trying to get it running again.

I'm still trying to figure out the new "Stupid" flip phone I had to get because of the 5G changeover.
January 7, 20224 yr Popular Post Too cold to be outside. I'll just putz around in the shop and see what I can find to play with.
January 7, 20224 yr Popular Post Working on another free standing cross ornament. They go faster than I can make them. May have to start charging for them. And plan on turning a couple pieces of cherry into pizza and ice cream scoop handles. That is if she behaves.
January 7, 20224 yr Popular Post My nephew should be getting his new AR today so I’m sure he will want to go to the range. As far as the shop goes it needs a serious dedusting and then keep on the media room ceiling. I also need to finish up a couple of turnings. Paul
January 7, 20224 yr Called for a plumber. The neighbor recommended his service. They said they could be out to my home 1st thing Monday. So, now I'm arm wrestling with my internet service. We can only receive service through a phone line. The Electric company put in a new pole and move all of the services. Since then internet service has been hit and miss. We are tired of "sit-and-wait" when we switch screens. The max speed is only 6MBps down load. I better hurry and hit "submit reply" while system is up and running. Danl

January 7, 20224 yr Working today. Hey it is only two days a month. Getting colder today maybe a warmup tomorrow. Still treating Bronchitus . Got a woodworkers club meet tomorrow so that will kill another day. Just has not been my year to get anything done
January 7, 20224 yr Popular Post This weekend is all about shop cleanup and going through the second 510 in detail. If I get really ambitious, I will start laying out the rough cuts for a bed I need to make.
January 7, 20224 yr Popular Post I'm no ball of fire today with this cold weather. Since my back surgery last March, this is my first experience with below zero temps. It's probably all in my head, but my lower back is aching far more than the new normal. The numbness in my right knee and lower leg is more pronounced with a weird tingling feeling. So, other than whining alot, not much on the agenda. Watch some YouTube videos maybe. Church Sunday. In between, let dog out, cats in...let cats out, dog in...repeat frequently. Advice if you're working in your shops: Remember to work safely, keep hands and fingers at least 4" away from sharp spinning things and if your tongue sticks to metal objects, turn up the heat.

January 7, 20224 yr Popular Post "only 5 inches" he says......a clear sign of someone loosing their faculties.
