Steve the gunsmith is holding a sweet little Kimber K6 3" .357 for me.  I'm going to go and have a look at it.  Thinking it might replace my Kimber 1911 Custom as my EDC.

Cool beans. Nice choice. Hope it worked out for you.

If you need my address as a retirement home for the 1911 let me know. Christmas is coming and I promise to act really surprised.;)

I'm negotiating over the pistol, it's in on consignment, waiting to see if my offer will be accepted.

While it is sometimes necessary to "thin the herd", I have to be careful about sending one away.  Last time, all of its brothers and sisters got moody and started to rust.

Watched some good football Sat. Congrats @Calon the Bulldogs season. Purdue got the "bucket" back, and the one day each fall I'm a Michigan fan turned out OK too.

It's been kind of quiet on the Poor Farm today. Grand-daughters left yesterday for their respective dorms. Wife returned to work after being off work 2-1/2 weeks due to illness; no one to watch Gunsmoke, Laramie, Wagon Train or Rawhide with. All the left-overs are gone. Got caught up with my domestic duties. Plane irons and screwdriver shanks stuck to my tongue so too cold to work in the garage. Edit add: almost forgot, I did get over the doldrums when I got the mail...my new Henry catalogs showed up...sigh...

Supposed to see a warming trend mid week thru Saturday. Truck is due for an oil/filter/service; try to finally finish up repairs to youngest granddaughters car...may take a stab at mulching leaves,,,yes in December. Shopping trip in there too...wife's birthday is Friday.

Gerald, that is some awesome work on pizza cutter handles and seam rippers.  Don't you love those Rockler pizza cutters?  Everyone I give them to, I warn them that the pizza cutters can be a weapon and to please be very careful.

First time for Rockler on them and they are very sharp. Before I had used Woodcraft but the Rockler was on sale so why not. Thanks

Meet Gracie.  9mo Weimaraner pup.  She's a bit shy, but I'm sure it won't last long.  For the record, IT WAS THE BOSS'S PICK.  I may need witnesses later.  :)

This is main beam to hold the heater in my Mother's shop.  Had some fun with the paint scheme and then added some safety advice.

Dryer motor decided it didn't want to sing anymore and just hummed. Ordered new motor/bearings & belt that were old and worn. 1/3 the cost of a new dryer and I hope to get another 16 years.
