November 20, 20214 yr Popular Post One rough turned pecan bowl on the books. This one is 11 1/2 x 6. Too big for my soap bucket, so into shavings to dry it. Checked in on some of the other rough turned stock. Nothing quite ready. The commissioned Monkeypod bowl has lost about 10% moisture in the last few weeks. Took it out of the shavings and put it in the water heater closet to air dry...hopefully in time for Christmas. .40

Other than playing nurse and house keeper, pretty much says it all. Started this week on a little cedar box for DIL to keep her rosaries. Will get a picture up on Monday.

November 22, 20214 yr Popular Post Very enjoyable double birthday ( actually triple as it is one DIL's bday tomorrow) celebration! Their request was for breaded and fried pork chops, chocolate ice cream cake and apple dumplings. Their mom accomodated superbly! Plus, all the trimmings. And, to cap it all off, we watched the AZ Cardinals whip the Seattle Sea chickens.
