One of the things I love about melamine coverings for shop furniture like this, specially for the table saw side table, is you can jot down numbers with a pencil on the surface, it cleans up great with windex. Often I'd take a measurement, then go straight to the saw, and just jot down the measurement on the melamine before I forgot it, it's serves second duty as a whiteboard.

Off to the hospital, Marie is having some kind of test for her impending stomach/esophagus surgery. Any time available this afternoon might be spent in the shop. I have a bowl in the lathe I haven't touched for 6 days or more, I may get back to practice on it.

Thanks, John. Do Sharpies wipe off with Windex? All our dry erase markers have dried up.

Got some windows to wash outside and a few other small chores.  Going after those when the weather permits and hitting the shop otherwise.

Still working through datacenter software upgrades.  The good news is that about half the estate is finished.  VXRails delivered but as yet unpowered...hurry up and wait.

Spent the morning doing final cleanup of shop of a deceased club member. After getting back to the shop with more stuff than I need I finished the platter I left on lathe yesterday. Pictures in turning.

Monday? :WonderScratch:

Glad I missed it! :P

Actually was a nice sunny day that got things dried up enough to get half of the mowing done.

Today's supposed to be more of the same, so will attempt to get the other half done.

Spent yesterday mowing the lawn and other yard chores.

Likely spend a good bit of this week on making a new panel sled for my table saw.  I have an old one patterned after Norm's NYW.  I have been watching a William Ng you tube video and I really like his, I think it will be a major upgrade.

I understood a couple of posts and now we are on to "lawns" and "mowing".  Next someone will say that water falls from the sky or some such voodoo.

If I can get some free time I am going to drill a whole bunch of holes in the workbench tops.
