That is one beautiful bowl and you did an exceptional job of filling the hole with brass powder.  I do wonder if you could have done something similar with shavings, chips and some glue building it up a layer at a time.  

 

This may be a tacky idea, but you might make some random holes or in a pattern and use the powder to decorate some parts of the bowl.  

SWMBO is doing the 24/7 with her mom now and has been through covid.   don't know when it will end.  :BangingHead:

 

Pears have some fruit - depending on variety, apple trees not so much.   the volunteer apple out  by the street (think it started from an apple core dumped there by a mail carrier)....   well, it's been picked clean in the last couple of days.   someone has been driving by and helping themselves the last 3 years.  :MachineGun:
