    Hey...I missed another Monday......afraid I was "Indisposed"......Friday evening until about noon today.....OSU Wexner Brain & Spine Hospital.....possible stroke....they got it fixed....finally.

  • For my go to work beater car I have a 2001 PT Cruiser.  Got it for $350 and put a Timing belt on it to get it running.  8 years ago.  Spend about $120 a year fixing this or that odd stuff that breaks.

Still working with my arm in a sling. Thankfully my friends son Jacob has become my new helper.  Was able to get stuff moved around or out of finishing room and a temporary table set up till a drying rack gets made.  He applied several coats of poly to 3 projects for finishing room.

Kid eats 3 large pizzas and drinks liter if Mt Dew. Still has room for supper with us.  I git heartburn just watching.

Oh no, built like a tank. Plays football works out.  Think Goliath at 6ft 3 in. Compared to my scrawny 5ft 8in frame.

I bet he can pick up my truck with one hand and eat pizza with the other. :JawDrop:

When I first started teaching electronics, we would have a class party at the end of each marking period (if there were no discipline problems during that time frame). They ate dozens of hot dogs and hamburgers, giant bags of chips, gallons of sodas, large sheet cake and several goes of hand churned ice cream. It was great fun and built class unity.

My second is due in 21 days. I've heard us old folks don't get too sick with the 2nd one.

Sounds like it was fun.  I would have been that kid who asked, can I leave early and skip the party??  LOL

Dad said every time they went to a Parent Teacher meeting the teacher would comment I am not a joiner.   he always asked if I had been a problem, nope, just does the work assigned then stops.  Got tested for all kinds of stuff, they even sent me to some Phycologist for evaluation.  All he had to tell them was I happened to be a task oriented person that was bored. :)

My left shoulder was sore for about 4 days from my first shot.  Hope they have sufficient vaccine for the second shot.  I am proud of you who got your vaccinations.

Same here, Gator. Not unlike the regular flu shot.

Methinks the USPS is using 1860s edition of a manual GPS system. i.e. a map.

Yep, the delivery services outdid themselves this past season. We got one last week that was supposed to be here in early Dec. I think Marie said that was the last package we were expecting.
