We only built the engines. They went out on racks of 6 to the assembly plants.

Putting the timing belts on was a sit down job. :D

Yeah the level of difficulty is a bit more involved.

And no sitting either.:throbbinghead:

I've replaced a few myself, and it can be a PITA.

2006 Honda Pilot for one. As in who in their right mind would design it so you have to remove the motor mount to get the belt on/off?

GM has a couple engines that require removing motor mount to do the drive belts.  Yeah great idea for a maintenance item.

As a child growing up my mother did not like to cook. Nor was she good at it. Led to some rather unorthodox meals for the holidays.  One Christmas we had egg salad sandwiches.

So in keeping with this tradition I have a plan for our meal.

Egg salad sandwiches, sour cream and onion potato chips, with dip and egg nog. For desert poptarts.

Well that is what I plan to post a picture of anyway.:ChinScratch:

Gotta give them something to talk about right?

The green peanut butter wasn't bad, of course you had to stir the oil back into it.

I was on pinterest a few days ago - clicked on "18 delicious peanut butter sandwiches" or some such.   I mean, how many ways can you make a PB sandwich?  Anyhow, one of them was bread, PB & green olives!  Now I love my PB, I really like green olives.  I do plan to try it, but probably not today...

Hey, i used to make PB and bologna sandwiches (yes, i was single back then).   SWMBO wasn't at all impressed.

For 2 years as a child, we ate pinto beans and cornbread except for breakfast.  Wake in the morning, grandma had breakfast with eggs if the hens were not molting.  Otherwise, just biscuits with syrup and Odem sausage.  Walked home from school as we couldn't afford for me to eat there.  Pinto beans and cornbread.  Walked home after school and it was pinto beans with onions added and more of that cornbread.  After 50 years, I will eat pinto beans in a bean burrito.  What a life!
