DuckSoup
When we were kids at Christmas there was always ribbon candy on the cookie trays, don't remember if much of it was ever eaten but it was always there. For a couple of bucks you got a dozen pieces. After I was married I made it a point to keep the tradition alive and always had it on our cookie trays at Christmas, until last year. I shopped no less than 15 stores in our area last year and found no one carried this. The first Christmas in 39 years no ribbon candy. Shopping online this year and what the h3ll is going on! Pictured below is 9ozs of ribbon candy, price $24.00. That just under $50.00 a pound. This year, Shaved USDA Choice Top Sirloin (Center Cut) on the cookie trays. Link to comment
