January 18, 20197 yr Popular Post For some a three day holiday weekend and others it just another weekend. We poured the epoxy finish on the desk this week and it’s looking good. Got finis sprayed on the bottom so it should get delivered this weekend. Working on finishing up this kitchen island. Made of Red Elm. First two shelves done. Like one more shelf and the bottom legs then it will go to finishing. So what’s on your agenda this weekend? love to see your projects and how they are going. Whatever you do, have fun and be safe.
January 18, 20197 yr Just finished the 6 month maintenance on the Shopsmiths. Cleaned inside and out, oiled the sheaves and gave the machines an over all waxing. Here's a pic of the thing(s) I'm working on. Care to guess?
January 18, 20197 yr Had to move some things to get the new washing machine in. Washer is up and running so time to clean a bit and put the stuff back. Got the inside out vase "How Too" done. See link below.

January 19, 20197 yr Busy day so far...early trip to HS for swim practice...LAST ONE this season. Dog to the vet for stitches removal; dug the snowblower out of one side of the garage, reallocated items from the other side to move snow-blower over; I haven't used it the past two years; it's now ready to go; variety of other outdoor projects in preparation for the "big one" forecast for Saturday. Conference swim finals that were rescheduled from last Saturday to this Saturday have already been re-scheduled for Monday evening. Guess I'll be rearranging snow the remainder of the weekend. Oh almost forgot, retrieved the headless rabbit from the dog and tossed it in the field across the road; I assume the head will surface in the spring?
