Yep, plus keyway stock, a few 1,2,3 blocks and story sticks.

Numbers confuse me.:BangingHead:

    Uhhhh...well then how do you guys measure a project after it's done to see if it will fit through the shop door?

  • If y'all don't use tape measures, what do you do with all of those free ones from Harbor Freight? As I duck and run for cover...

  • I thought the second line of that song was “If I were a carpenter, and you were a lady....” If you don’t use a tape measure how do you know how long you TRIED to sing?

probably had a piece of lint on the jaws from carrying them in your pocket.;)

I might have a few more years to figure these things out but I have found keeping all of anything in one place makes me do a lot of extra walking all day long.

Like keeping all those tape measures in one location. Is that the only place you measure things???

 Pencils, I have a few holders placed all over the shop where I might need one. Positioned all on the walls in plain sight and I know this reduces my steps during the day.. I doubt if my shop lay out would win any awards except from me for being user friendly...

i'm not making that up.  the instructions said "approximately" one inch.

well, how approximate are we shooting for?  1/16" either way?  very doable.  1/32", doable, but a little more care is required.  1/64"?  i'm out if it has to be that fine.  normal wear and tear will rub off 1/64" in less than a year.  let's go with 1/16" +/-

@p_toad ...

why would this be sad for any reason other than Artie won't be allowed to get near the drawer....

or it's overflow..

  That is exactly what mine looked like up until a couple months ago. Hung it on a hook in the shed & haven't looked back since.

One the other side is a ingenious device.  It allows you to hang it on your hip or pocket.  Some fancier ones have magnets.  Allowing you to carry it with you everywhere you go.:ChinScratch:

LOL

Won't need an ark next time , find a fireproof bunker.

This reminded me of something I said over the radio in Iraq.  I have a long list of these quotes they gave me on a scroll when I left.  Just about everyone of them I got yelled at for.

10. Go to Hell? In case you have not noticed we are in Hell moron, what do you want me to do sit in the corner?
