Nice job on the post.  Hope she supplies a picture after she decorates it.  Need to view Tim's the inside out turnings.  I love doing those.

A great batch of links this week Lew.  Never heard of sanding paste before, will keep that in mind.

Great post Lew.  I especially like the stocking holder.  I won't have time to try one for this year, but I will definitely keep it in mind for next Christmas.  I have in mind to make a similar project as a clothes tree for the bedroom, so this would be a good entry level project for that one.  Thanks.

@Steve Krumanaker Thank You!

@Gerald Thanks! The Laser looks well made.

@HandyDan Thank You! I suspect we will get called over to see it decorated. I'll try to remember to get a picture.

@Cal Thanks! I'll try to find additional information about it and it's use.

@PostalTom Thank You! It is a pretty easy build. My lathe wasn't long enough to make the turning in one piece but the round tenons/holes worked out OK.

Could not find the laser on the website so send Tim a message. Will let you know what I hear back. I had been frustrated with the Ron Brown because I had to take it off and reset everything to change the bar. So I cut the tube in two and inserted a 1/2 inch aluminum rod. This allowed me to move the RB back and clamp it (it has a square cutout) to the square bar behind the boring bar. The RB rod is an odd size so could not find al bar but this solution worked great.
