FWIW,  I have been out of..... well, my mind...... and have not seen, or absconded with, ANY pie, ice cream, OR donuts except for that that large helping of "Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough" at the local Kawartha Dairy ice cream place two nights ago.

Well I can tell ya' she didn't show up here...nothing here but some store bought Rice Krispy treats which also serve as small wafer board blocks.

I think she has been influenced/corrupted by a duo that wishes to be unnamed but according to rumor control they now can be found at the Kawartha Dairy ice cream bar...

I suspect they wouldn't be over there unless they were trying to mask pastry mouth...

I didn't offer the Pecan to my grand-daughters either...neither had ever been willing to try, UNTIL this year. Oldest, who turns her nose up at lots of stuff, said this is the best pie I've ever eaten...I had to hoard the remains to enjoy while they were at school

Was that wrong? I wouldn't have done it if someone had said that was wrong.

I only get Pecan pie at Christmas and Easter. Sometimes if I'm good also on Memorial or Labor day, but that's becoming harder to meet the criteria.

I got no pie on 3.1416 day so technically it balances out mathematically.
