Yep., afraid you'd say that. Most all the drills I stumble on is either missing that one or has one broken down to a stub...I'll check tomorrow to see what I have.

Wonder if one could grind the base smooth, drill a 1/16" hole in the center and either super glue or epoxy a standard bit back in? Trick would be drilling the 1/16" hole on center w/o having a small lathe.

Only lost a little bit off the end, may be able to sharpen it up, and use it a wee bit longer......Tractor Fest is coming again (Labour Day) and I MIGHT be able to scrounge another drill..with bits.   Have to stand there and shake the handle until one rattles a bit...

:D:lol::D...BTDT many times...bought a very old Yankee North Bros yesterday mainly for the bits and did just as you described...has 8 of them including the 1/16; well if you count the 1/4" above the mounting shank:P

That was my thought, too. What are the dimensions of this box? Looks like it would hold enough for all the spooks and goblins on Halloween!

John

Nice box, BTW.

Box measures 12" long, 6" high, 5"  wide at the ends.

Somehow, it looks even bigger in the photos. But it still holds enough candy to put my sugars WAY over the top!

Thinking about Lew's church kitchen table getting him to heaven, we can only hope you don't need the help till the pastors get back.:D
