      Got a cherry tree at a friends farm today. After Halving that worked on that worked on the. Chess set.   Tomorrow we are going to the gun show , Need sights and case and some more items.

      Probably not much if any shop time...unheated space and forecast now for tomorrow maybe high of 440; wouldn't be bad if sun would shine and 20-25 mph winds would lay. Worked on block planes some

    Would be a great size for crawdads. By the way I have a 18 inch bowl in sycamore I turned as a dough bowl......too big. It was a real pain turning one that large and if I had to sell considering the time involved would be prohibitive. So now I can say been there done that.

    I did rough out (chain saw rough) a couple blanks around 20". If I turn them it will be natural edge and with the crotch grain they should be spectacular. We'll see.
