You can say crotchwood with a straight face.

You can spend the whole day in the shop, accomplish little if anything, and thoroughly enjoy it.

You know exactly where to find anything in the shop....except a pencil.

To a woodworker, "Garage" and "Shop" are not synonyms.

They are mutually exclusive terms referring to the same space.

As in "Honey, I'm gonna back your car outta my shop, OK?"

Related: "It's OK. Most of it will blow off after a couple miles."

You know when you are a woodworker when:

You get so involved you forget to eat or miss meals.

You bring dust or chips in the house and she isn't happy

You enter a furniture store and try to detect if there is any real wood there

You go into Rocklers like a child in a toy store

You get serious about the latest jig and make one right away

You buy a tool you don't need because you always wanted one

Your whole darn shop is  messy and you can't even find the broom

Your shop is so densely packed with stuff that you can not store one more thing.

Yep, I am a woodworker  :)
