The seat is weaved, and I placed the accompanying stool with it. I am pretty happy how this one turned out. I'll create plenty more, this was just too much fun.

Really nice weaving and, the colors are perfect and, perfectly subtle, in keeping with the DNA of this rocker. 

Thanks for taking us along on the build. BTW, the floats arrived last week. Tried them out on some white oak. Impressive.

    Gene, I am glad those floats are working out, they are nice to use, they cut fast and clean.

     

    I am very excited to start in on another rocker, only the next one will be some very nice curly maple I purchased from http://www.curlymaple.com/,

    just received it this past Friday.

    Thank you so much Cal, that Cherry sure colored up all by itself beautifully didn't it? You should see the chair now, two years later, it's has darkened up so beautifully!
