Started from a picture in the AAW magazine and then a Sketchup drawingThat has advanced to this. I thought the bandsaw kerf would be too narrow for an insert. The wedges were cut apart and clamping ideas were tested for adding an insert. The inserts would need to be thin enough to bend when clamped/glued. Shop made drum sander to the rescue.Hope just a guess at first but this is workable,The clamping fixture that ended up being the best choice. All the wedges were labeled to keep matching edges together. Each wedge now has a maple insert glued to one curveNow I have to figure out the gluing/clamping sequence to put six pieces together. I don't think trying to glue all six pieces at one time will work unless I can make some sort of elaborate clamping jig. I have strap clamps, might give them a try.Safe turning
