Today is our 47th Wedding Anniversary! My wife and I almost found it hard to believe but here we are 47 years later. We give thanks to our Heavenly Father for all He's done for us along the way. Truly a gift.

I made this little ring box out of all Maple. It's made of spalted maple and torrefied maple. Even made the hinge out of Maple. Then I made a Royal Blue velvet inlay.

She is very pleased. So am I.

Thanks @Handfoolery ! It is special. Especially since it's coming close to that 50 mark. However.. I have a friend who celebrated his 70th with his wife. Unbelievable!

He's 95 turning 96 shortly and she's turning 90 June 7th. Married 70 years is truly amazing. Both are very vibrant. They seem more like being in their late 70s or 80s. Amazing!!
