today's fun was making baseboards for the room.

started with three 7" wide planks of 6/4 maple, after many passes thru the TS and planer, we have 6 pieces of baseboard, 1/2" thick, 4-1/8" tall, and a lot of sawdust (free to a good home), and one worn out me. first coat of poly on late today, another tomorrow sometime, hope to install monday or tuesday, and that will wrap up my involvement with this room.

likely take the scraps and make a cutting board later. nice chunky one.

Nice work Dab ! A beautiful set of cabinets. The wood prices seem to be going up at a pretty good pace these days. With fuel going up so dramatically I expect the price hikes to continue.
