May 13, 20251 yr Popular Post Busy weekend for me anyways. Put a wrap on the spring soccer season finally. Did some more mowing, new tire on the wheel barrow, fixed my 13 year old, 3 gallon H-F pancake air compressor; finally got all the sticks picked up or piled for now anyway. Worked on the raised garden beds, got the guy to come and till our large garden areas; he has a small, compact, diesel 4wd tractor with a 4 foot tiller; it does a great job and I don't get tired at all while he's doing it. Purchased most all the garden plants. Celebrated mothers day at our daughters and also SIL birthday. No donuts were harmed but a couple of coney-dogs, some home made brownies and ice cream didn't survive. Today, I was busy but not so productive; split duties tonight with the Mrs.; I went to my youngest grandsons baseball game; they got whupped, 20-3. She went to oldest grandsons game in another county; they won 19-2. Only one baseball game tomorrow night; split duties again Wednesday nite; one Thursday night. Remainder of the time, depending on weather, some combination of mowing, garden planting and working on more raised garden beds. Need to get a weedeater or two going as well. Late getting here today. Donut suppose there are any doughnuts left now?
May 13, 20251 yr Popular Post Y'all recon @Grandpadave52 has caught his breath after that post? I am still out of breath. Saturday was supposed to be demo day at the Craftsman's Guild but with the rain coming down all day tr=urned into a cleanup day. They found some MDO shelves which I volunteered to take 50 off their hands. These are 14 x 28 and should work at making some cabinets for the new shop. Spent some time yesterday and today regluing the strips back on one edge. Got all the wood burned today which has been sorted or was rotten in the woodpile . Then started making some wooden boxes to pack some more smaller pieces of wood. Mmmmm maybe should have burned more of that .
