March 19, 20251 yr Popular Post comment_354019 Another pattern by Steve Good. This one is cut from 1/4 Baltic Birch with a stained maple background. I think it turned out pretty good. The small letters made for quite a challenge. obtw - if you cut it, be aware that the "Great Seal" is backwards in the original pattern. The arrows are always on the right side with the olive branches on the left. Report
March 19, 20251 yr comment_354020 Love it Fred, very nice and well done sir! Are the letters cut separately? Then applied to the main board? Dumb question I know, just making sure Report
March 19, 20251 yr Author comment_354022 Yes, sire, each line of letters are cut out and glued to the backboard. Thanks for the kudos Report

May 5, 20251 yr Author comment_355976 Yesterday, May 4th, we were vendors at a Fine Crafts show. A mother, her daughter and grandaughter were looking at this cutting. The mother said she know nothing about the 2nd. I asked her daughter if she knew it and she said "yes = it's about gun control" ..... I had to catch them up on American History 101. They went away educated. I was amazed...... Does the school system even teach American History any more???? Report
