Last year I acquired a sizeable collection of sharpening/honing stones. I've finally decided which ones I'm keeping and the rest are going up for sale (at highly discounted prices). Most of them are new in the box and a few are very lightly used. If any woodworkers you know are in need of some honing stones, let me know. I'd like to get them out of my garage and into the hands of someone who will use them. I've included a picture for an idea of what I have. The system is displaying it upside down, my apologies.

Thanks for the post. Nice score on the collection. Maybe @lewcan correct the picture orientation.

 

A suggestion though. Maybe post prices along with the stones.

Oh, man those strike me as great prices. They won't last long. You might want to mention how you want to be paid (paypal, MO, whatever) and I'm guessing you just want a private message from anyone interested?

Yes, if you are interested send me a private message. I can take payment in a few different forms, but I'm flexible. I figured that I would work out those details with each person individually, if there is any interest.

You know @Grandpadave52, you could help with this by ordering a few stones yourself.   Are you sure you don't need a stone or two (or twenty) for yourself and for gifts for all of your family and friends?

 

It's getting there, but now I have resorted to Ebay to get rid of the last of them. The forums and locally on FB Marketplace are only going so far. I just hate losing money to Ebay for their ridiculous fees. In total, they take around 25%!

I'm pretty sure I don't need any stones right now. In fact I have one or two I'd like to give away as soon as my kidney's will release them
