May 18, 20242 yr Popular Post There is a time and a place for everything and I am glad this transition seems to be to the place you need at the right time. And just to add a smile to your face and hopes that you will have the extra energy to get back in the shop more, here is this morning’s pile of zen…

She was supposed to be released by Thursday but things changed. She might come home today after which it will be mostly caregiver duties for me, at least for some time. Prayer, Fred.
May 18, 20242 yr Popular Post I feel for her Fred. Hope this one works for her and life gets better for both of you.
May 18, 20242 yr Popular Post Thanks to all for the well wishes, payers and thoughts. Marie did get home today around 1:30, so at least the hospital part is over. She's doing as well as can be expected, only time will tell if the surgery worked this time. Edited May 18, 20242 yr by Fred W. Hargis Jr

I plan on retiring relatively soon. Congratulations John. I'm happy that you were able to transition to the office to complete your working career. I think a lot of employers would have just let you keel over out in the desert or force you into a medical retirement. Now you might actually find the time and energy to do some woodworking or maybe do some retirement planning with a clear head

(Got cheap due to a broken key cap) Outer post spacing was a bit off on those two keys, easy fix with a few bits of scrap plastic and a little PVC cement.
