Cal Posted December 30, 2023 Report Posted December 30, 2023 I really like the round plaque Frederick, contributes to it rather than just showing it off lew, Grandpadave52 and FrederickH 3 Quote

Popular Post FrederickH Posted January 3, 2024 Author Popular Post Report Posted January 3, 2024 Gesso applied and dried. I've applied a coat of sizing to the plaque rim and will be laying down the gold leaf soon. Gerald, HARO50, lew and 2 others 5 Quote

Grandpadave52 Posted January 3, 2024 Report Posted January 3, 2024 This one is going to be awesome with the gilding. The round plaque was a great choice in my opinion. lew, Cal and FrederickH 3 Quote

Popular Post FrederickH Posted January 7, 2024 Author Popular Post Report Posted January 7, 2024 Here's my last comment on this post? The large scallop shell came from a late lunch that we had in Scilla, Italy. I had seen that a couple were eating seafood out of the biggest scallop shells that I had seen and I asked the owner of the restaurant if I could "buy" one. He said no, but would give me one. So, it came home with me!!! It's next to some "normal" scallop shells that came from Nantucket. lew, HARO50, Grandpadave52 and 2 others 5 Quote
